All Black Everything: Does your dream therapy room look like this?

It’s definitely not the obvious choice. Black can be associated with both style and sophistication as well as darkness and evil. But it also connotes power and strength. So what’s so bad about that? I actually think that if done well, a therapy room that contains a lot of black elements can be really cool and classy.

In the following pins from my All Black Everything board you will see couches, chairs, coffee tables, curtains, carpets, and table decorations that all have one thing in common – the dominant colour is black. Would you be happy to go to therapy in a room like this? In most cases there is a hint of white that is used to set off the black but which colour would you use with black?

Nope! Personally, I really wouldn’t like that. I like a therapy room to be homey, or at least have a sense of humanity. If it feels corporate, how can I feel comfortable?
