I have been conducting therapy online (over Skype or Facetime) since 2015. When I did my training, almost 10 years ago, this form of therapy was not discussed or included in our curriculum. It is in fact a very new tool for therapists.
Over the last few years, however, it has become much more common and I am happy to say that I feel very comfortable conducting sessions online.
But for those of you who would think twice about it, I have made this video to explain some of the pros and cons of online therapy and attempted to answer the question: Is online therapy effective?
